Day 12 Coney Island Dog

Day12

Growing up on the West Coast had no idea what a Coney Island dog was until recently. One of the restaurants called National Coney Island in new terminal at Detroit Metro Airport  serves these and I am addicted.   Lucky for me, since I do not fly thru DTW often, they  have the chili in frozen to go containers and I try to bring home a container every now and then and make my own Coneys. If your in DTW and have a layover and like a good hot dog I recommend you  try one .

Todays picture an attempt at food photography using window light. I believe part of the challenge to experiment with your camera and lighting and even though it does not always work its still valuable experience.

Todays blog Scott Bourne’s post from today Ten Ways to Improve your Photography with out Buying Gear. Scott is the person who challenged Tasra Dawson who in turn invited others to join her in trying to improve our photography.
